Join Pakistan Air Force (PAF) as a Commissioned Officer

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) invites passionate and qualified individuals to join as Commissioned Officers. General Duty Pilot (GD(P))

Qualification:

F.Sc with minimum 65% marks in any of the following:

Pre-Engineering

Pre-Medical

Computer Science

Physics, Maths, and other subjects like Biology, Statistics, or Computer Science

‘A’ Level in Physics, Maths, and Biology

Training Period: 4 years

Aeronautical Engineering Course

Age: 16 to 22 years as of 25th April 2025

Gender: Male/Female

Marital Status: Unmarried

Height: 5 feet 4 inches (163 cm) for male and female

Qualification:

F.Sc with minimum 65% marks in Pre-Engineering

‘A’ Level with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths

Training Period: 4 years

Air Defence Course

Age: 16 to 22 years as of 25th April 2025

Gender: Male/Female

Marital Status: Unmarried

Height: 5 feet 4 inches (163 cm) for male and female

Qualification:

F.Sc with minimum 65% marks in any of the following:

Pre-Engineering

B.Com (4 years) / BBA (Finance) / BS (Commerce) / BS (Accounting & Finance)

Admin & Special Duties Branch

Qualification:

B.Sc, M.Sc, BBA, MBA in Public Administration, Management, or International Relations

Training Period: 24 weeks

Logistics Branch

Age: 18 to 30 years as of 25th April 2025

Gender: Male

Marital Status: Married/Unmarried

Qualification:

B.Sc in Supply Chain Management, or BBA, MBA with specialization in Logistics and Supply Chain Management

Training Period: 24 weeks

JAG (Legal) Branch

Age: 18 to 30 years as of 25th April 2025

Gender: Male

Marital Status: Married/Unmarried

Height: 5 feet 4 inches (163 cm)

Qualification:

LLB or LLM with 2nd Division or above

Training Period: 24 weeks

IT Branch

Age: 18 to 30 years as of 25th April 2025

Gender: Male

Marital Status: Married/Unmarried

Height: 5 feet 4 inches (163 cm)

Qualification:

MS/MCS/BS in Computer Science, Information Security, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, or related fields

Training Period: 24 weeks

MET Branch

Age: 18 to 30 years as of 25th April 2025

Gender: Male

Marital Status: Married/Unmarried

Height: 5 feet 4 inches (163 cm)

Qualification:

BS/M.Sc in Meteorology, Physics, or Atmospheric Sciences

Training Period: 24 weeks

Selection Procedure:

Candidates will undergo a rigorous selection process, including intelligence, academic, and physical tests, followed by interviews. The selection centers are located in major cities across Pakistan.

Ineligibility Conditions:

Those dismissed from government service

Convicted by a court of law

Declared unfit for any reason by the PAF medical board

Having dual nationality
