NATIONAL DISASTER RISK MANAGEMENT FUND (NDRMF) JOBS AUGUST 2024
The Government of Pakistan has secured a “Credit” from the International Development Association (IDA) to fund the Pakistan Hydromet and Climate Services Project. The project aims to enhance the delivery of reliable and timely climate and hydro-meteorological services while strengthening community resilience to socio-economic shocks, including those related to climate risks, health emergencies, food security, and natural disasters.
The National Disaster Risk Management Fund now invites qualified individuals to express their interest in providing consultancy services for the positions listed below. Interested consultants should submit detailed CVs demonstrating their qualifications and relevant experience.
1. Climate Finance Consultant (International) One (01)
Qualification:
Advanced degree in economics, finance, climate and environmental studies, public administration, public policy, business administration, or a related field.
Experience:
At least 6-8 years of professional experience in relevant areas, as outlined in the Terms of Reference.
2. Climate Finance Consultant (National) One (01)
Qualification:
Advanced degree in economics, finance, climate and environmental studies, public administration, public policy, business administration, or a related field.
Experience:
At least 6-8 years of professional experience in relevant areas, as outlined in the Terms of Reference.
3. Carbon Consultant (National) One (01)
Qualification:
Advanced degree in economics, finance, climate and environmental studies, public administration, public policy, law, business administration, or a related field.
Experience:
At least 6-8 years of professional experience in relevant areas, as outlined in the Terms of Reference.
4. Climate Finance Consultants (National) Two (02)
Qualification:
Advanced degree in economics, finance, climate and environmental studies, public administration, public policy, business administration, or a related field.
Experience:
At least 4-6 years of professional experience in relevant areas, as outlined in the Terms of Reference.
5. Communication Consultant (National) One (01)
Qualification:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communications, graphics, public relations, environmental communications, or a related field.
Experience:
At least 3-5 years of professional experience in relevant areas, as outlined in the Terms of Reference.

This Request for Expressions of Interest (REOI) is also available on the NDRMF website at www.ndrmf.pk. Interested consultants should be aware of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” (July 2016, revised November 2017, July 2018, November 2020, and September 2023), particularly regarding conflict of interest, as outlined in Section III, paragraphs 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17.
