Quotas and Jurisdiction

Items No. 1-5: Only applicants who are permanent residents or possess domicile of the area/region against whom quota vacancies are available.

Item No. 6: Applicants eligible based on domicile in the Civil Districts & Tehsils under the territorial jurisdiction of respective Railway Administrative Divisions (Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, Sukkur, Quetta & Karachi).

Additional Quotas

5% quota for Minorities/non-Muslims

5% quota for orphans/destitute

2% quota for disabled persons (where applicable)

Age Limit

General: 18-25 years + 5 years General Age Relaxation on the closing date

Scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, Sindh Urban/Rural & Balochistan: Additional 3 years relaxation

Ex-Servicemen: Relaxation up to 15 years or actual years served in Armed Forces, whichever is less

Government servants and contract employees with 2 years continuous service: Relaxation by 10 years up to age 55

Disabled candidates: Relaxation by 10 years

Widow or child of deceased Civil Servant: Relaxation by 5 years
