The Ministry of National Food Security & Research is seeking qualified candidates for various positions within the Project Management Unit (PMU) under the project titled “Prime Minister’s National Program for Solarization of Agriculture Tubewells.” The positions are based in Islamabad and will be filled on a contract basis, initially for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance until the project’s completion. All appointments will adhere to merit and transparency, following the Ministry of Finance’s guidelines.

Available Positions:

Project Director (PPS-10)

Age Limit: 40-63 years

No. of Posts: 1

Qualifications: 

Postgraduate degree in Agri. Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant field from HEC-recognized institutions. Must be registered with PEC.

Experience:

16 years in relevant sectors, with 5 years in management, preferably in public sector projects related to water, agriculture, or renewable energy.

Deputy Project Director (PPS-9)

Age Limit: 35-50 years

No. of Posts: 2

Qualifications:

 Postgraduate degree in Agri. Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant fields from HEC-recognized institutions. Alternatively, a Master’s in Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, or Project Management.

Experience: 

12 years in relevant sectors, with 3 years in renewable energy or solar irrigation system projects.

Deputy Director Admin & Finance (PPS-8)

Age Limit: 35-50 years

No. of Posts: 1

Qualifications:

 Master’s in Accounts & Finance, MBA (Finance), Economics, or related fields from HEC-recognized institutions.

Experience: 

10 years in public sector administration and finance.

Water Management Engineer (PPS-8)

Age Limit: 35-50 years

No. of Posts: 1

Qualifications: 

BSc in Agri. Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field from HEC-recognized institutions. Preference for Master’s degree holders.

Experience:

 10 years in water management or renewable energy/solar irrigation system projects.

Deputy Director M&E (PPS-8)

Age Limit: 35-50 years

No. of Posts: 1

Qualifications: 

Master’s in Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, MBA, or Project Management.

Experience: 

10 years in M&E with 5 years focused on water, agriculture, or renewable energy sectors.

Assistant Director IT (PPS-7)

Age Limit: 30-45 years

No. of Posts: 1

Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Information Technology or a relevant degree with professional certifications.

Experience: 

Minimum 5 years in IT roles.

Database Administrator (PPS-7)

Age Limit: 30-45 years

No. of Posts: 1

Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Database Management, or equivalent, with preference for certified Database Administrators.

Experience: 

5 years in large-scale database management.

Accountant (PPS-6)

Age Limit: 30-45 years

Qualifications: 

B.Com/BS in Accounting & Finance, or equivalent. Preference for PIPFA-certified candidates.

Experience:

 5 years in public sector accounting.

Computer Operator/Assistant (PPS-5)

Age Limit: 25-40 years

Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.

Experience: 

3 years in public/private sector organizations with computer hardware/software handling experience.

Accounts Assistant/Cashier (PPS-5)

Bachelor’s in Commerce/Accounting & Finance or equivalent.

Experience: 

3 years in accounts and AGPR-related matters.

Dispatch Rider (PPS-1)

Age Limit: 20-35 years

Qualifications: 

Matric with a valid driving license.

Experience: 

1 year in a similar role.

Naib Qasid (PPS-1)

Age Limit: 20-35 years

Qualifications: 

Matric, with 1 year of relevant experience.

Driver (PPS-1)

Age Limit: 20-35 years

Qualifications: Matric with a valid driving license.

Experience: 2 years in a similar role.

Chowkidar (PPS-1)

Age Limit: 20-35 years

No. of Posts: 2

Qualifications: Matric, with 1 year of relevant experience.

Sweeper (PPS-1)

Age Limit: 20-35 years

Important Notes:

All recruitment will follow the general instructions and policies of the Establishment Division.

The posts are on a contract basis, with an initial one-year term, extendable based on performance.
