The Sindh Mass Transit Authority (SMTA), under the Government of Sindh, has announced a range of job openings in various technical and administrative positions. SMTA is responsible for overseeing and implementing mass transit systems in Sindh, and these positions are a part of their mission to provide efficient and sustainable public transportation solutions. Qualified candidates are invited to apply for the following positions on a two-year contract basis.

Assistant Engineer – Civil (BPS-17)

Number of Posts: 02

Qualification/Experience: B.E. in Civil Engineering from a HEC-recognized university with PEC registration.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in project management and infrastructure development.

Age Limit: 30 years

Assistant Engineer – Electrical (BPS-17)

Number of Posts: 01

Qualification/Experience: B.E. in Electrical Engineering with PEC registration.

Experience: 2 years of professional experience in the electrical engineering sector.

Age Limit: 30 years

Assistant Engineer – Mechanical (BPS-17)

Number of Posts: 01

Qualification/Experience: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from HEC-recognized institutions with PEC registration.

Experience: 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical systems.

Age Limit: 30 years

Accounts Officer (BPS-16)

Number of Posts: 01

Qualification/Experience: B.Com or equivalent from a HEC-recognized university.

Experience: At least 2 years in accounting, financial management, or related roles.

Age Limit: 30 years

Assistant Manager – Operations (BPS-16)

Number of Posts: 01

Qualification/Experience:

B.E./B.BA/B.Tech from a HEC-recognized university.

Experience: Minimum 2 years in managing operations, preferably in the transportation or transit sectors.

Age Limit: 30 years

Sub-Engineer – Civil (BPS-11)

Qualification/Experience: B.Tech (Civil).

Experience: 2 years in infrastructure or construction-related projects.

Age Limit: 30 years

Sub-Engineer – Electrical (BPS-11)

Number of Posts: 01

Qualification/Experience: B.Tech (Electrical).

Experience: At least 2 years in relevant electrical engineering roles.

Age Limit: 30 years

Sub-Engineer – Mechanical (BPS-11)

Number of Posts: 01

Qualification/Experience: B.Tech (Mechanical).

Experience: 2 years in mechanical maintenance or operations.

Age Limit: 30 years

HVAC Technician (BPS-08)

Qualification/Experience: Diploma in HVAC systems.

Experience: 2 years working in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.

Age Limit: 26 years

Computer Operator (BPS-12)

Number of Posts: 01

Qualification/Experience: CIT/DIT or equivalent certification in IT.

Experience: 2 years in data entry and computer operations.

Age Limit: 26 years
